| Piper's Dirk. Single, large-bladed knife in leather scabbard with white metal mounts. The handle is of black wood, carved and studded with white metal pins. The pommel is circular in shape with a large raised crown on top. The blade is single-edged, and ends in a spear-point. On the blade, near the handle, is a manufacturers stamp for Wilkinson Sword, consisting of two crossed swords, blades uppermost, between the handles of which are the words 'Wilkinson Sword & Co. Ltd, London, Made in England'. |
